By purchasing a ticket and/or boarding a Go Bus vehicle for travel to and from an event, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions of Travel.
1. Tickets and Bookings
- All tickets must be pre-purchased through the official Go Bus booking platform.
- Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable under any circumstances, including change of plans, illness or missed departures.
- Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times and must have purchased a valid shuttle ticket.
- Go Bus requires a minimum of 10 confirmed passengers for each shuttle to operate. Bookings will close on Friday 9 January 2026. If this minimum is not met, Go Bus reserves the right to cancel the service and issue a full refund.
- Passengers must carry a valid shuttle ticket (printed or electronic) and present it upon request.
2. Travel Times and Service Operation
- All departures are set. Arrival times are approximate and may vary due to traffic, weather, or unforeseen delays.
- Passengers must be ready at their nominated pickup point at least 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
- Return buses will depart approximately 30 minutes after the concert finishes. Please check the latest updates on the Go Bus events page (gobus.co.nz/events) for departure point information.
- Go Bus is not responsible for missed events or delayed arrivals due to circumstances beyond its control.
- Passengers are responsible for ensuring they return to the designated pick-up point 15 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. If a passenger misses the return departure, no refunds or alternative transport will be provided, and all associated costs will be the passenger’s own responsibility.
3. Passenger Behaviour and Safety
- Passengers must follow all driver instructions and behave safely and respectfully at all times.
- Passengers must remain seated while the vehicle is in motion.
- Go Bus reserves the right to refuse boarding to anyone who appears overly intoxicated or is behaving inappropriately.
- Smoking (including vaping and e-cigarettes) and consuming alcohol or drugs on board is strictly prohibited.
- Seat belts must be worn where fitted.
4. Luggage and Prohibited Items
- Only small bags that can be safely stored under the seats are permitted. Oversized or hazardous items may be refused.
- Dangerous goods, alcohol for consumption on board, flammable substances, weapons and illegal drugs are strictly prohibited.
- Go Bus accepts no liability for lost or damaged property. Passengers must ensure all personal belongings are removed from the bus upon disembarking.
5. Service Amendments and Cancellations
- Go Bus reserves the right to cancel, reschedule or substitute vehicles at its discretion (e.g. mechanical issues, operational requirements or force majeure).
- In the event that a service does not proceed because the minimum passenger requirement has not been met, affected passengers will receive a full refund.
- No other compensation will be payable.
6. Liability
- Travel is undertaken at the passenger’s own risk. Go Bus is not liable for any delays, cancellations, or other circumstances beyond its control.
- Go Bus is not responsible for any loss, injury, or damage arising from travel on its services.
- To the extent permitted by law, Go Bus’s liability is limited to the amount paid for the ticket.
- Go Bus has no affiliation with the event organisers or promoters. Go Bus solely provides return transport services to and from designated pickup and drop-off locations. Event tickets must be purchased separately.
7. Privacy and Marketing
- Go Bus may use photographs or video footage from the event for marketing purposes. Passengers who do not wish to be filmed or photographed should notify staff prior to boarding.
