We have a vital supervisory position available at our Tasman Road Depot in Hamilton.
This is a position that requires a high level of organizational skills and flexibility while playing a key role in coordinating and maintaining a smooth, punctual operation for our Charter services, while meeting all safety, regulatory and compliance requirements.
Role & Responsibilities:
- To supervise and maintain smooth punctual operation of all Charter services.
- Managing our team of drivers, including staff training.
- Rostering weekly driver and fleet allocations.
- Accident and complaint investigation and resolution.
- Charter quoting and depot administration.
- Promote and visit charter business with customers, both new and existing.
- Promote H&S in the workplace, support the company’s objectives and conduct investigations.
- Investigate customer feedback and proactively and promptly resolve any concerns
- Responding to KPI exceptions
- Participate in a rotational weekend and after hours on-call roster, maintaining phone accessibility to support charter drivers when required.
- Managing multiple tasks and communicating with staff and customers.
- Managing all driver and fleet compliance.
- And other tasks as required by the business which will include driving.
To be successful you must have:
- Class 2 & 4 License & P Endorsement would be an advantage.
- Established track record in customer service, client engagement, and operational management.
- Leadership and personal skills demonstrating a practical people-oriented approach.
- Focus on results with a hands-on practical approach.
- Attention to detail and be proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, structure, and organise activities, resources, and schedules to achieve operational goals.
- Ability to adapt and cope with change, in a fast-paced environment.
