We are in search of an administrative/van driver superstar!

The role

We are looking for an administrator/driver to provide support to our Hamilton schools depot at Tasman Road. This role includes supporting our supervisors, organising vehicle servicing, defects and COF’s and delivering vehicles to workshops.

You will be required to drive a van daily transporting special needs students to and from school. The role is fulltime hours during school terms only, however, there may be opportunities to work some hours during the school holidays.

Are you comfortable working under pressure and able to multitask?

You will need to excel at prioritizing your work in order to meet deadlines and your communication skills will be of a high standard in order to liaise with our drivers and other stakeholders. This role offers variety, and we encourage people to develop and grow.

To be successful you must have:

• Clean full class 1 drivers’ licence for at least 2 years.
• P Endorsement (assistance provided to attain this).

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in an administration role
• Excellent customer service
• Organisational and planning skills
• Ability to develop and maintain key relationships in the business
• A positive attitude and shows initiative
• Intermediate level in Microsoft Word and Excel, with good understanding of systems and programs

Are you a Transport Depot Manager looking for your next challenge? We have an exciting opportunity that could be of interest to you in Rotorua. 

The role

We are seeking a dynamic and results driven Depot Manager to lead the team in our Rotorua depot. 

Your primary responsibilities will include providing comprehensive reports to the MOE, ensuring full legislative compliance, conducting thorough investigations of accidents and incidents, all whilst maintaining optimal service levels. You will also play a pivotal role in cost control, overseeing weekly KPI reports, implementing change management strategies for the business and employment relationship issues along with essential administrative duties. 

Your expertise in fleet management will be crucial in keeping our school fleet fully operational, and you will have the opportunity to grow our charter business by developing relationships with schools and external organisations. You will also collaborate closely with the Tokoroa site supervisor.

Experience/qualifications sought for the position are:

• Level 3 NCEA or equivalent (evidence of Business/Operations related higher education is desirable)
• Class 2 licence, and preferably a class 4 or willing to obtain this.
• P Endorsement (or ability to obtain one)
• Experience in managing a team 
• At least 3 years’ experience in a large passenger service industry or similar
• Experience in managing customer and stakeholder relationships with significant organisations
