We welcome all experienced **Heavy Vehicle** **Diesel Mechanics** that are hands-on, willing to learn and want to take on a career in our Fleet Team!
**About the job:**
* **Permanent Full Time**, with a guaranteed minimum of 40 hours a week.
* We offer a flat rate ranging from **$36.10 to $40** per hour.
* Based at Kilbirnie
* You'll be able to work any 5 out of 7 days on a variety of shifts (shifts may vary from depot to depot)
* You will be carrying out safe efficient repairs, maintenance and diagnostics duties for our buses and other company vehicles to a high safety standard. This includes work on COF's, unit exchanges (including fixing gearboxes and re-lining brakes), compressor and airbrake systems, transmission setting adjustments, diagnosis and repair of electrical faults. No two days are the same!
**What you'll need:**
* Trade qualified (NZQA certified)
* Minimum 3 years experience
* Voith and Allison transmission fitting/repairs experience is favourable
* Computer literacy and working knowledge of maintenance systems
